Meet the person behind Ompun Ompelimo
Ali Hossein Mir Ali has worked with clothes since he was 13 years old, learning tailoring in Iran where craftsmanship was passed down through practice, patience, and care.
After moving to Finland, life took him through many paths. He worked in different fields, including healthcare as a practical nurse, and also ran a small restaurant. Through these experiences, he learned responsibility, service, and what it means to care for people in different ways. But tailoring never left him. The love for fabric, detail, and the quiet satisfaction of restoring a garment stayed constant.
In 2023, that lifelong connection brought him back to his roots. Ompun Ompelimo was opened with a simple idea: good clothes deserve a second life.
Here, every piece is treated with respect, whether it's repairing, adjusting, or reshaping something meaningful to its owner. The goal is not just to fix clothing, but to help people continue wearing what they already love.
